I am blessed to have three wonderful, strong, silly men in my life...my father, my brother, my husband. And blessed even more because these three get along so well. Really well. Years ago, when Brett & I were still newly married, my mother dubbed our three guys-- "the three stooges". Sometimes comical, sometimes maddening, their antics often left us laughing and bewildered. Oh how they embraced their "stooge" personas! Especially once Mom & I crowned them with these hats: Dad{aka Larry}, Sean{aka Moe}, and Brett{aka Curly}, donned their caps proudly.
And through the years, we could always count on our three silly stooges. Silly, yet steadfast. In this ever-changing world of mine, they are also my three constants. Always there for me...they steady me, protect me, rescue me. This past year has been a long one, a heartbreaking one; but, they have sheltered me with their love. My three silly, steadfast stooges are also my three white knights. Maybe it's time to get them some new hats.
