When you live in a household with two daughters...one a teen, the other a "tween"...and they both love to talk, well, it's often hard to get a word in edgewise. Dialogue? What's that? With my girls, it's more like a monologue given by one while the other one huffs & puffs impatiently for her turn to speak.
Conversations around here can sometimes turn into screaming matches which then lead to angry, uncomfortable silence. That's the ugly truth when one daughter is as obstinate as you, the other daughter has a bit of an irish temper, and all 3 of us can be drama queens with strong opinions. Still, all in all, we are a family that loves to talk and share thoughts and feelings; we care about each other...and what each of us thinks. And often times, we find ourselves in agreement.
Like when it comes to Converse sneakers. Converse are cool. Converse are universal...whether you're 10, or 14, or 43...your feet look good in them. Yes, on this we three will agree: we love our shoes and we love each other. And life around here is a whole lot better when we girls see eye-to-eye in our Converse-ation.
