Whatever I had planned to write about today seems trivial to me now. One of my favorite bloggers, Andrea Singarella, posted some very sad news on her blog: a dear family friend of Andrea's lost her son yesterday. He was 17, her only child, and he took his own life. This mother is unknown to me, but I feel her pain. Today my heart aches for a mother who grieves for a child lost. She has my deepest condolences. I will hug my children a little tighter today and pray for this mother I do not know.
