Trampoline Scene -- Take 2

Yesterday, on the way home from Grandma Maxine's, we stopped at Toys-R-Us to purchase a trampoline. For the 2nd time. That's right, we've bought a trampoline once before, two summers ago. What happened to the first one? one might ask. It blew away. Or rather, it was blown away. In March 2007, while we were on vacation in Florida, a bad storm came along and bounced our trampoline across two acres and tossed it into a neighbor's deck. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the deck wasn't damaged much...just a "scratch". The same could not be said for the trampoline. It was a goner. The girls begged Daddy to get it fixed; he thought perhaps the broken pieces could be welded together. Mommy wasn't so sure. Wouldn't that be a little like stuffing an airbag back in after it's been deployed? After some debating and lots of procrastinating, a safer & wiser decision was made. We'd get a new trampoline & enclosure and after Brett put it together, he anchored it to the ground. So finally, a year later, the girls are back to jumping up & down on a trampoline. I just hope that, this time around, the only bouncing around here is done on our trampoline.
