Snow & a curvy road...not a good mix. Last Friday, coming home from the hospital, hit a slick spot and my car went off the road and onto a steep embankment. Slid into a street sign {tko for the sign} and a small tree. Had it not been for the tree, I'm pretty sure the car would have rolled down the hill. Lucky break, I guess. My brother's fine, I'm fine {and the girls weren't with me}; the car, however...not so fine. But, it's a car. Cars can be fixed. No one was hurt; no other cars involved. And, what's more, my husband was wonderful & understanding and handled all the "hassle" that comes with a car and its damage. I consider myself a lucky gal. A lucky gal who really, really doesn't like snow.
