Pumpkins Plenty

On our recent trek to the pumpkin patch...
we found plenty of pumpkins
but it seems smiles were scarce that day.
Apparently, my family has grown weary of me taking pictures of them...
in their words, "everywhere we go, all the time" {insert whine}...
and so it seems they've had enough.   Barely a smile among them.
She was the ringleader of this little rebellion; having only slept from 5 to 9 am {sleepover the night before}, my teenaged girl was especially sullen.
Surprisingly, my dh was the most cooperative.  And if anyone had reason to scowl, he did.  The day was sunny, 84 degrees, and he would rather have been golfing!

After a lot of pleading and cajoling on my part...
it looked as though these pictures were going to be the best I could get.
So why am I smiling?
Simply because, smiles or not, I love this family of mine.
{Plus, reinforcements were on their way...but that's another post}.

this is such a cute post. they will be happy someday that you have all these great photos from fun things you did. they will probably say "Mom, why didn't you make us smile?" because you know everything is our fault. haha.

Hi Leah, Believe it or not, when they look back . . they'll be glad you took these pictures and you'll be glad too for the memory. It's all worth it . . all the trials and the misbehaving teenagers we have all had. Enjoy those kiddos. Have a nice weekend, Sandy:O)
