My daughter's favorite month is October.
Brynn loves it for obvious reasons:
--it's smack-dab in the middle of autumn
{her very favorite season}
--it includes her favorite activities...football games, the pumpkin patch & trips to haunted houses{ a first this year}
But, the top 2 reasons Brynn loves October so much is because her two most favorite days "fall" in this month...her birthday{10/22} and of course, Halloween! Now, I'm not really a big fan of this spooky holiday; but, for some reason, my daughter loves everything about it. And each year, weeks before it arrives, Brynn decorates her room for Halloween. No surprise there. What did surprise me was how crafty my daughter could be.
She found this project online and decided to make it herself. After printing the directions, "borrowing" a pair of socks from me, with needle & thread, Brynn got busy making this guy. She stitched, stuffed, and sketched this spook-tacular skeleton in no time at all! Dubbed "Mr. Bones", he's a boo-tiful addition to her halloween decor, don't ya think?
